Alan Henry Competes In Glasgow Half-Marathon

MILL worker Alan Henry weaved his way to a fine personal performance in September's Glasgow Half-Marathon - and raised plenty cash for the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust at the same time. The 32-year-old completed the 13-mile course in 2 hours 2 minutes, his first ever half marathon, and managed to collect £260 for the trust. Alan, who is also a member of the trust's committee, said: "I was happy with my time. The last couple of miles were a bit sore but on the whole I enjoyed it. "It was a good experience and I was quite chuffed with the amount I raised seeing as I only starting collecting the week before."
