A Marathon Effort By Four Braw Lads

FOUR Braw Lads managed to raise £2,309.30 by cycling and running almost 1,000 miles between them for the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust. Among them was former rugby professional Andy Miller, who collected £1,410.80 by cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, a distance of around 900 miles. Malky Horsburgh ran the Loch Ness Marathon and bagged £342.50 for the trust, Alan Henry raised £260 for his Glasgow Half Marathon performance and Kenny Paterson pulled in £296 for the Three Peaks Ultra Marathon. The quartet presented their cheques to the RBM trust this month. David Boland, RBM trust chairman said: "All four put in plenty of effort and sweat into their challenges, and we thank them for their support."
