Starwalk finally beat the weather

Starwalk finally beat the weather The Rowan Boland Starwalk finally beat the weather - and raised hundreds of pounds for the sports charity. Last year's night-time event was cancelled due to monsoon conditions, but around 50 individuals of all ages tackled the new five mile route around Galashiels, with £275 donated to the Trust. Seven year old Lacey Hamilton was named the youngest to tackle the route. Shirley Marr of the Trust committee said: "Conditions could not have been more different compared to last year. Thanks to all who took part in the Starwalk which we hope to bring back in 2016."
